Japanese artist, born in 1978, lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Kurokawa’s works take on multiple forms such as installation works, recordings, and concert pieces. He composes the time sculpture with the field recordings and the digital generated structures, and reconstructs architecturally the audiovisual phenomenon. In recent years, his works are shown across the world”at international festivals and museums including TATE Modern [UK], Centre Pompidou [FR], Venice Biennale [IT], Pinakothek der Moderne [DE], Palais de Tokyo [FR], Barbican Centre [UK], ARS Electronica [AT], Mutek [CA/MX/JP/ES], Tretyakov Gallery [RU], Minsheng Art Museum [CN], YCAM [JP], EMPAC [US], LABoral [ES], FACT [UK], Palais des Beaux-Arts [BE], National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts [TW], National Centre for Contemporary Arts [RU], CTM/Transmediale [DE], ACC [KR], Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton [FR] and Sonar [ES/UK/JP]. In 2010, he was awarded the Golden Nica at Prix Ars Electronica in the Digital Musics & Sound Art category.

SPIME.IM is an artistic collective that aims to investigate, through transmedia projects, the aesthetics and the languages derived from the affirmation of digital reality. SPIME.IM uses technology, 3D art and electronic music to weave immersive audio-video experiences that explore the boundaries of identity, corporeality and perception. Their work as been featured at international digital art festivals such as Mutek, Ars Electronica,Club to Club, L.E.V., Lunchmeat, Rhizom and Lost Music Festival and recently delivered their latest multimedia production “The End Of The World” with internationally renowned pianist and composer Lubomyr Melnyk and cellist Julia Kent. SPIME.IM are Davide Tomat, Gabriele Ottino, Matteo Marson and Marco Casolati.

Riccardo “Akasha” Franco-Loiri is a young visual artist and motion designer based in Turin, Italy. His research focuses on digital abstraction, glitch and post-internet art. he founded High Files Collective, a videomapping and multimedia design studio.His sources of inspiration are nature and the arts in all their forms. He works on the themes of transcendence, meditation or even science. He perceives reality as a kaleidoscope of intersecting temporal and spatial lines: when our perception can capture an intersection, an epiphany comes to mind, ready to guide us towards the artistic process.
